He is Risen.

1 Corinthians 15

14- “And if Christ is not risen, then our preaching is empty and your faith is also empty”
17- “And if Christ is not risen, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins!”
Matthew 28:6 “…For He is risen…”
He is risen! He is risen! He is risen!
Today, we celebrate the resurrection of our Lord, Jesus Christ, the confirmation of our salvation and the washing away of our sins.
Salvation was the most amazing gift to mankind. Jesus died and rose again so we can be whole, so we can be cleansed of sin and iniquity. Nothing should be comparable to the magnitude of our gratitude for this eternal gift.
I find it a little ridiculous when certain Christians don’t believe in the death and resurrection of Jesus, I feel it should be the foundation of our faith seeing all that Jesus went through, the cursing, the pain, the doubt and disbelief. He did it all for us. The son of God died so we might live.
It’s crazy to think about.
How many people can actually lay down their lives for humans drowning in sin? That’s a funny question actually cause we can’t even stop judging each other let alone love unconditionally. We judge people cause they sin differently from us. I’m not a saint but I think we all need to reevaluate our lives. We need to take a step back and actually try to see the bigger picture.
He is risen! There is no cause to doubt that.
Happy Easter!!

Easter.

It’s meant to be easter weekend?

Woke up today and the most I could do was laugh. Looking around, it’s all so different. I remember growing up and being so excited about Easter cause it symbolised something amazing, an eternal memory of the death and resurrection of our Lord, Jesus Christ. It’s really amazing how times have changed, everyone’s going about their business like someone didn’t pay the price for our salvation.
It’s actually sad to think that people have selective remembrance of past happenings. We’re believers, we love the Lord but shouldn’t the little things matter? Like, “Thank you Lord for dying on the cross of calvary for my sins because I know without that price you paid, I won’t be here today”. Give thanks. Give thanks. Give thanks. I really can’t stress it enough.
On that note, Happy Easter to you and yours.
